Today with Michele Ouellet

Welcome to a fly-on-the-wall peek into a day with Michele Ouellet Benson — model, vintner of  Lorenza Rosé, and mother to a pup that is begging to be squished. Arguably Napa’s chicest export, Michele grew up amongst a buzzing food and wine scene with gastronomy pulsing through her veins. Coupled with a modeling portfolio that's globetrotted more than most, she is the ultimate mixologist of work, play, and a little je ne sais quoi that keeps us all on our toes. Her schedule is as filled-to-the-brim as her nightly glass of vino, and lucky for us, we're tagging along with her for the day.. From an early morning workout to a very special dinner date, she balances her packed day with grace and poise.  So, let’s get started – P.S. This full 24-hour session is trés chic.

7:37 AM – Rise & Shine

Michele starts her day with a stretch and snuggles with Roma, proving that, obviously, the best things in life are furry. 

8:07 AM – Morning Stroll 

Tea in one hand, leash in the other, Michele and Roma hit the streets – her daily ritual of getting some morning sun and mentally preparing for the marathon ahead.

8:34 AM – Workout

Back home, she pops on her Overachiever Eye Masks and dives into a 30-minute Sculpt Society workout. The no-slip patches stay put through every plank and plié, just as Molly intended.

11:15 AM – Fittings 

Next, it’s off to Buck Mason on Abbot Kinney for a fitting session that doubles as retail therapy. The brand recently launched a women's line, making their chic, versatile basics regulars in her rotation. She’s the kind of person who can make a plain white tee look editorial, and their new arrivals are — quite literally – the perfect fit for her laid-back style. 

1:52 PM – Shopping 

She makes a beeline for Toiro. If you haven’t been, it’s a gem of a shop that specializes in Japanese donabe and homewares. Today, she’s on a mission to find the perfect anniversary gift for her husband. Lucky for him, she nailed it. 

3:03 PM – Business and Bouche

Back to le grind. Michele handles Lorenza emails and tends to her Substack, Amuse Bouche, where she covers all from restaurants to travel to fashion... Her multitasking secret as she bops and weaves between projects? A well-organized inbox and a generous pour of coffee to accompany it. We are taking notes.

7:09 PM – Dinner 

Dinner time rolls around, and Michele heads to her favorite local haunt: Crudo e Nudo. The neighborhood restaurant specializes in raw fish with the right touch of salt, spice, and citrus. Pair that with a cold glass of rosé for an A1 evening of good food, great wine, and hand-picked company. What more could a girl need?
