My ultimate skincare secret? I used to hate my skin.
It’s true: from cystic acne to melasma to dark spots, sun spots and hyperpigmentation, my skin gave me hell for decades.
As a result, my answer to life started to become no. No to jumping into the ocean with my kids. No to spontaneous dinner invites. No to leaving my house bare-faced in the mornings. I put life on hold and channeled all my energy into peels, lasers, and patching up my face with concealer. The last straw? When my husband casually mentioned that my face looked dirty – not realizing those dark patches were actually my hyperpigmentation.
It took me many years to finally figure out what worked for my skin. But when I did, I vowed that no one else should have to waste as much time as I did worrying about their skin, which is why I started YSE Beauty.

It took 3 years, hundreds of formulations (and one too many palomas to count!) but I finally perfected my holy grail skincare routine – a routine that delivers genuine, bare-faced beauty.
